Bob Iger Announces Pixar Is Developing ‘Coco 2’
At The Walt Disney Company’s annual shareholder meeting today, Disney CEO Bob Iger gave fans a preview of the many films set to hit theaters this year, including Snow White, Elio, Fantastic Four: First Steps, Zootopia 2, and Avatar Fire & Ash.
After sharing a glimpse at the upcoming Lilo & Stitch live-action remake, Iger then dropped a bombshell.

Pixar is currently developing a Coco 2!
‘Coco’ Has Become a Beloved Pixar Film
Since its release in 2017, Coco has entertained and enamored fans with its heartfelt story of family, faith, and music.
Both a commercial and critical success, Coco has remained one of Pixar’s most popular films. Disney has capitalized on the film’s popularity by creating a new Coco ride for Disneyland Resort and featuring the film’s songs throughout its theme parks. Recently, the Country Bear Musical Jamboree opened with Big Al singing “Remember Me.”
