Lance Lyttle Has Been Named CEO of Greater Orlando Aviation Authority
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority has named Lance Lyttle as its new chief executive officer.
For those who don’t know, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) oversees both Orlando International Airport and Orlando Executive Airport. Lyttle has long been on the body’s radar, as he was previously a finalist for the chief executive officer position in 2021.
At that time, the GOAA chose to go with Kevin Thibault.

Thibault resigned from his position last September to help care for his wife, who is dealing with an undisclosed illness. However, he agreed to stay on until a new CEO was found. He will now help Lyttle with the transition.
Lyttle’s Vast Experience
To take the new job as head of the GOAA, Lyttle will leave his current position as managing director of the Seatle-Tacoma International Airport. According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, that airport had 52.64 million passengers in 2024.
Before working at the Seattle airport, Lyttle served as the chief operating officer for the Houston Airport System.

According to a report from the Orlando Business Journal, GOAA Chair Tim Weisheyer says that the board is currently negotiating a contract with Lyttle, who will assume his new position in mid-April.
The New CEO Will Inherit Numerous Projects
As CEO of the GOAA, Lyttle will oversee Orlando International Airport’s (MCO) renovations of terminals A and B. The airport is also developing future projects, including upgrades to baggage claim and a potential new rental car facility.
