Walt Disney World Wait Times for Second Week of March 2025
We’ve officially entered mid-March, which is technically the busy season.
While everyone disagrees on the dates, some people just spent their Spring Break at Disney.

Crowds
According to a media firm, Comscore, one-third of all college students just took their Spring Break.
As for kids, 24 percent of K-12 schools were reportedly off for the week.

Magic Kingdom
While I often wonder about the validity of such numbers, it’s data showing that Disney should have picked up last week.
So, how were the crowds? Here are Walt Disney World’s wait times for the second week of March 2025.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

It’s Tough to Be a Bug at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Let’s pour one out for It’s Tough to Be a Bug! By the time you read this, the opening day attraction will have closed forever.
Disney will soon replace it with Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, which gives us reason to be excited.

For the moment, longtime Animal Kingdom visitors are just plain sad, though.
We’ve never visited the park at a time when the show wasn’t right there at the Tree of Life, greeting us…until today.

So, the natural question is whether guests flocked to the show for its final week. And the answer is, sadly, not really.
Guests waited in line for an average of 14 minutes, just the same as the previous week.

Generally speaking, there was an uptick during the show’s final days, but the bump was modest at best.

- Kilimanjaro Safaris – 46 minutes, down 5

- DINOSAUR – 35 minutes, up 1
- Adventurers Outpost – 33 minutes, down 2

So, maybe Spring Break hasn’t happened at the parks yet. Let’s check some other places to be sure.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

At Hollywood Studios, the news centers on the impending arrival of Monstropolis, which Disney highlighted at SXSW.
We learned about the new lift mechanism for this unique roller coaster, with work commencing soon.

Before that happens, guests are enjoying their final days at Muppets Courtyard, which closes in June.
We’ve been tracking the ripple effects of this announcement for a few weeks now.

EPCOT

Soarin’ Around the World
The next two parks have changed significantly over the last couple of weeks.
Disney dropped virtual queues for the time being, switching Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind to a standby queue.

Magic Kingdom did the same thing with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but that move only caused a small ripple.
Cosmic Rewind has triggered a tsunami as guests have fundamentally altered their EPCOT morning Rope Drop tactics.

So, Magic Kingdom was the only park to witness an attendance boost during what was ostensibly the start of Spring Break.

Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom
As such, I’m questioning Comscore’s data here. Generally, when it’s Spring Break, we KNOW it from the average wait times.
That’s why I consider what just happened the calm before the storm. We clearly haven’t reached the real Spring Break yet.
