Themes Revealed for the 2025 runDisney Virtual Series Races!
For those who would like to combine their love of exercising with Disney, runDisney races are a great option! There are several race weekends throughout the year at both Disney World and Disneyland with fun theming and events.
But, even if you can’t make it to a race weekend in person, you can still participate in things like the runDisney Virtual Series races! And, we just found out the themes for this year.
2025 runDisney Virtual Series Themes
This year, the runDisney Virtual Series is celebrating 10 years by theming their races to Disney Park Attractions!
These virtual races are run at home at your own pace in your own space, so they’re very easy to customize to whatever works best for you! They take place from June 1st through August 31st, 2025.

There are three Virtual 5K races and one Virtual Challenge. The 5Ks are themed to Pirates of the Caribbean…

The Virtual Challenge is themed to Happily Ever After! This is for people who want to complete all three races, totaling 9.3 miles. If you do this, you will get a fourth Challenge medal themed to the nighttime fireworks show in Magic Kingdom.

Event registration for the Virtual Series opens on April 1st, 2025. The cost for each 5K is $58 and the Virtual Challenge is $180.
