Walt Disney World Golf will host a team for the 2025 PGA Junior League Golf Season!
For those who don’t know, PGA Junior League Golf is a program designed to provide fun and inclusive opportunities for young golfers of all skill levels. The league is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 13.
Each PGA Junior League Golf team is comprised of eight to twelve players and one PGA or LPGA Professional who serves as the captain.

The Walt Disney World team will be headed by Michael Schlager, the resort’s PGA Director of Instruction.
How the League Works
According to Walt Disney World Golf, “Participating players wear numbered uniforms and play in a two-person, scramble format over nine holes. Matches between teams are scored based on wins, ties, and losses in three-hole segments called ‘flags.'”
The season’s practice sessions will be on Tuesdays or Thursdays from April 8 through May 29, 2025. Participants can choose either the Tuesday or the Thursday schedule, depending on what works for them.

The match season will then take place on Fridays.
What It Costs
The PGA Junior League Golf program will cost $509 plus tax per player. That total includes all matches, all practice sessions, coaching, green fees, a league hat, two golf shirts, a drawstring carrying bag, and a bag tag.
