Spring is here, and Easter is just around the corner. Walt Disney World is getting ready for the celebration, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is kicking off the springtime fun today.

The grand opening of the Grand Cottage and stunning Easter Egg Displays have arrived, and MickeyBlog is there! 

Grand Cottage

Hippity Hoppity Easter is on its way!  We love welcoming Spring at the nostalgic and charming Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, especially today!

Nestled in the heart of the resort’s lobby, the Grand Cottage features delicious spring treats and colorful Easter Eggs. Can you believe this ingredient list?

The cottage is typically open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and offers a delicious assortment of sweet treats and stunning Easter egg displays.

This is the cottage’s third year, and guests can enjoy festive (and adorable) treats from today through April 1. Indulge on flavorful sweets like these Carrot Blondie Pops for $7.49…

…and the Cream Cheese Carrot Coffee Cake for $9.49.

The Lemon Blueberry Whoopie Pie for $8.19 is a must-have…

…so are the Macarons for $14.99/box.

The Bunny Burrow Dirt Cup for $7.99 is a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth…

… And you can never go wrong with Mickey Cereal Pops for $6.99.

Once you’ve grabbed a tasty treat, be sure to stroll around the cottage to see the 18 sweet Easter egg displays.

Colorful Easter Eggs

The candy displays surround the cottage and feature your favorite Disney friends and movies…and a few Hidden Mickeys.

 

The details are amazing and the themes are so fun.  

 

 

We spotted so many of our faves, including this classic Cinderella Easter egg! How great are the bubbles and the images inside as they float around Cinderella?

 

 

And this egg was inspired by the movie Atlantis.

 

 

Belle and the Beast look phenomenal and even more incredible? The egg also spins, reminding us of the famous ballroom scene.

 

 

Inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this egg features the Evil Queen with a glowing apple. This egg also spins!

 

 

Here is an excellent look at Maleficent’s dragon form!

 

 

And how cute is Orange Bird?

 

 

Of course, our favorite mouse is here in a classic black-and-white design. This egg is inspired by Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willie!

 

 

Wow! Check out the details on this egg inspired by 101 Dalmatians. The playful pups are having fun while Cruella de Vil looks on!

 

 

Does this display stir up any emotions for you? Inspired by Inside Out 2, the display is amazing!

 

 

Here is an excellent photo of Scrooge McDuck diving for money. But take a closer look! There are hidden Mickeys on the gems!

 

 

And this egg inspired by Pixar movies is just too cute!

 

 

Each egg has a small card next to it with the culinary cast member who created it and the movie or ride that inspired the egg, like this one featuring Madame Leota designed by Joann.

 

 

In addition to being intricately created, we love that some of the eggs have unique elements or special effects. Madame Leota actually glows!

 

And this Yeti-inspired egg lights up like a disco ball.
