‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Has Already Been Renewed For Season 3

Eight months before Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 debuts, Disney Branded Television has announced that the series has already been picked up for a third season.

Since its debut in 2023, Percy Jackson has undeniably been Disney’s most successful streaming series outside of Star Wars and Marvel.

Now, we know that Percy’s story will continue.

Percy Jackson Has Been an Undeniable Success

For those who don’t know, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on the Rick Riordan young adult series and follows the adventures of 12-year-old demigod Percy Jackson. The young hero is just coming to grips with his divine powers when Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. To clear his name, Percy sets out on an adventure.

“From the moment ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ debuted, it was clear this series had struck a chord with fans of all ages,” said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television.

The Series Will Continue to Adapt Rick Riordan’s Novels

Unlike previous adaptations of Percy Jackson, Disney’s streaming series has received praise from fans of the original novels for its faithfulness to the source material.

Season 1 of the series followed the events of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. The second season will continue the adventure by adapting Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. Finally, the newly announced Season 3 will adapt Percy Jackson and the Titan’s Curse.
