The “Reclaimed and Reforged” Lightsaber Experience Is Coming to Disney World
When Disneyland Resort announced this year’s Season of the Force experiences, fans were thrilled to learn that a new hilt theme was coming to Savi’s Worship in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Titled “Reclaimed and Reforged,” the new theme will allow guests to construct their lightsaber out of pieces that have been passed down through galactic history.

“Over the centuries, countless lightsabers fell into the hands of smugglers and bounty hunters. Remnants of ancient battles and abandoned scrap have been scavenged from the distant reaches of the galaxy’s outer rim. Now, Guests can build them into elegant tools that symbolize balance in The Force,” Disney teased.
What Are Hilt Themes?
For those who don’t know, themes have been integral to the Savi’s Workshop experience since the store opened. Before building their own lightsaber, guests are instructed to choose a theme. These include “Peace and Justice,” “Power and Control,” “Elemental Nature,” and “Protection and Defense.”
The choice of theme determines which parts guests will use when building their lightsaber.
While fans were thrilled to learn that “Reclaimed and Reforged” was coming to Savi’s Workshop in Disneyland, many Walt Disney World visitors felt left out.
“Reclaimed and Reforged” Is Coming to Hollywood Studios
Today, however, Disney announced that the new “Reclaimed and Reforged” theme is also coming to Savi’s Workshop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
The limited-time offering will be available beginning May 4th, 2025, while supplies last.
