VIDEO: The Disneyland Band Gave a Surprise Performance in Disney World!
The Disneyland Resort is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year! Of course, Disney couldn’t possibly celebrate an anniversary without throwing a huge party.

The resort will be celebrating 70 years of magic with exciting debuts and long-awaited returns of anniversary-inspired entertainment, attraction updates, décor, and much more! While the party doesn’t extend to Disney World, the Disneyland Band did find a way to bring a classic park staple to Magic Kingdom!

The Disneyland Band is a park staple for many guests. Why? Well, they’re ridiculously talented and play some of our favorite Disney tunes every single day–but aside from that, the band has been playing in the park ever since it opened in 1955!

The band is a classic offering in the park, immersing guests in Disney’s iconic storytelling via music, while also giving parkgoers a chance to experience an opening day show. Everyone needs (strong word, but we’re using it anyways) to experience the Disneyland Band–which is why it was so exciting for them to do a one-time surprise performance in Disney World!

So, while some of Magic Kingdom’s guests may not have visited Disneyland yet, they were able to experience one of the park’s most classic entertainment offerings!
