Former ‘Hannah Montana’ Star Emily Osment Files For Divorce After Five Months of Marriage
Former Disney Channel star Emily Osment has filed for divorce from her husband Jack Anthony, just five months after they tied the knot.
According to The Associated Press, the couple married on October 12, 2024, and filed for separation on December 7, 2024.
In court documents filed earlier this month, irreconcilable differences were listed as the reason for the divorce.

“I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision,” Osment said in a statement. “Ultimately, it didn’t work out.”
Just last May, Osment was beaming with excitement as she discussed her upcoming wedding with PEOPLE.

“I did not know life could be this sweet or I could ever be this deliriously happy,” the actress said.. “I am so proud of the life we have built together and the people we have become over the last few years.”
Osment’s Impressive Career
While Emily Osment has had a successful Hollywood career, starring in numerous television shows, including Young & Hungry, The Kominsky Method, Almost Family, Young Sheldon, and Georgie & Mandie’s First Marriage, for a generation of fans, the actress will always be synonymous with her role as Lilly Truscott in Hannah Montana.

Outside of the classic Disney Channel series, Osment starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Dadnapped and provided the voice of Kendall Perkins in Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil.
