A Spectacular First Look at “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away”
Are you ready, Disney fans? We’re only a few months away from the premiere of “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away!”
This brand-new nighttime parade is coming to Magic Kingdom this summer, and we are ready.
Behind the scenes, the Disney Live Entertainment team has been refining the show’s choreography and design, recording the score, and overseeing float construction!
Today, Disney shared new, exciting details about the parade. Get ready to be amazed!
“Disney Starlight” Official Poster
One of the most anticipated reveals is the official poster for “Disney Starlight.” This vibrant artwork will soon be on display beneath the Main Street, U.S.A. train station, capturing the essence of the parade’s whimsical theme.
Disney and Pixar fans can spot their favorite characters, and if you’ve been following the updates, you might even notice a few new faces.
Check Out the “Coco” Float
In celebration of Pixar’s Coco, Disney Starlight will unveil a brand-new float dedicated to Miguel’s journey.
Fans can dance and clap along to lively Mariachi tunes announcing the arrival of a larger-than-life Pepita. Just below, Miguel will serenade the crowd from the base of a marigold bridge leading to the Land of the Dead—complete with festive sugar skull fireworks.
Other Floats and Hidden Details
Although the main floats from the parade’s poster have been revealed, there’s still plenty of magic waiting to be discovered.
The very first float will feature the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio. She brings together a constellation of Disney dreams with a glowing star at the tip of her wand. Her wand pays homage to the “first star you’ll see tonight.”
Also, be sure to look for Peter Pan, Wendy, and Elsa on their own floats. Fans of Encanto can look forward to Isabela’s debut in Magic Kingdom, where she’ll be swinging gracefully on floral vines and surrounded by glowing butterflies.
We will also see a new Moana float with luminescent waves. Be sure to keep your eyes out for Pua, HeiHei, and a shimmering manta ray representing Gramma Tala. They are hidden among the float’s details.
Disney Princes and Princesses
Disney has already shared the princess float, which draws inspiration from Disney Legend and artist Mary Blair. This elegant float will showcase iconic royal couples, including Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and Cinderella and Prince Charming.
And that’s not the only royalty you’ll see in “Disney Starlight,” but Disney is announcing more surprises later.
