VIDEO: The White Rabbit Oversees Cast Members Move Disney Clocks Forward
Daylight Saving Time officially started today, and hopefully, you remembered to “spring ahead” and adjust your clock!
As Disney fans set their clocks ahead one hour early Sunday morning (I definitely missed that extra hour of sleep), Walt Disney World Resort had its own timekeeping mission to tackle.
Plenty of cast members worked overnight to ensure that clocks were set at the right time. And who better to oversee this project than Alice in Wonderland‘s White Rabbit?
Adjusting Every Clocl
Across the 40-square-mile resort, Cast Members were hard at work ensuring that every clock was perfectly adjusted before guests arrived. That includes the four theme parks to Disney Springs and the resort hotels.
Disney engineers, merchandise hosts and hostesses, and various operations teams literally “hopped to it” overnight to ensure that every timepiece around the resort sprang forward.
Whether it was adjusting clocks on iconic attractions, hotel lobbies, or dining locations, the team combined modern technology, manual tools, and old-fashioned hard work to complete the overnight time change.
Did you visit Walt Disney World today? Guests strolling through the parks likely overlooked the behind-the-scenes efforts, but the time was perfectly set for each clock.
The White Rabbit is Watching!
This year’s time change started on March 9, making it the latest “very important date.” The White Rabbit from Disney’s Alice in Wonderland was on hand to ensure the overnight transition ran smoothly!

Twice a Year
This twice-a-year tradition is nothing new for Walt Disney World. Every time Daylight Saving Time begins or ends, Disney Cast Members work diligently overnight to ensure that every clock across the resort is changed.
The transition is always seamless, with no reason to worry the White Rabbit!
