Thanks to the festival, DCA is full of offerings that celebrate California, from special eats and drinks to unique activities! But if you’re anything like us, you’re mostly there for the festival bites–which we’ve been digging into. And it’s time for us to try some more!

We’re here in DCA, trying out more festival offerings! Let’s start at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta!

Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta

We grabbed their new Smoked Hawaiian Pizza festival item, which comes with spicy marinara, smoked mozzarella, glazed ham, and charred pineapple. It’s available by the slice for $9.49 (also Sip and Savor Pass eligible) and as a whole pie for $47.49. We grabbed a slice–it was really good, with mild spice in the marinara sauce and plenty of flavor from the smoky ham and sweet pineapple!

Now, we’re moving on to Paradise Garden Grill!

We got their new Chicken Taquito Ahogado festival item, which is served in salsa verde with Spanish rice, avocado crema, sour cream, pickled onion, cotija, and cilantro. You can grab two for $14.99 or get a Sip and Savor Pass portion by using a coupon.

We grabbed a Sip and Savor portion and loved it! There are tender chunks of chicken in the taquito, and the entire dish is packed with flavor. We would definitely get this again…and again.

Now we’re heading over to a festival booth–Uncork California, to be specific.

We grabbed their new Green Apple Slush Cocktail with Green Apple BeatBox, blue curaçao syrup, melon liqueur, kiwi purée, and lime juice, garnished with a shark gummy. If you like sour apple candy, this is your drink! You can grab it for $18.50 (not Sip and Savor Pass eligible).
