The presentation began with a glimpse into the future of Star Wars in the Disney Parks, before transitioning to Pixar.
A Preview of the New ‘Monsters, Inc.’ Land
Taking the stage, Pixar Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter and Imagineer Michael Hundgen updated fans on the Monsters, Inc. land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Originally announced at last year’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, the new Monsters Inc. land will transport guests to the streets of Monstropolis.
The crown jewel of the new land will be a thrilling roller coaster that takes guests through the Monsters, Inc. door vault.

“Imagineers have been itching to turn that moment into an attraction ever since we saw it for the first time,” Hundgen teased.
A Groundbreaking Attraction
While most of the details surrounding the new attraction have yet to be unveiled, Docter did reveal that it will be the first-ever suspended coaster in a Disney Park and will also include the first-ever vertical lift!
