The Mandalorian and Grogu Are Coming to Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run

Disney Experiences chairman Josh D’Amaro and Disney Entertainment co-chairman Alan Bergman took the stage at SXSW today to present The Future of World-Building at Disney.

The showcase examined the intersection of technology and storytelling at Disney and gave fans a peek into the company’s future.

Of the many announcements revealed throughout the presentation, perhaps none was more exciting than the news that the Mandalorian and Grogu are coming to Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run!

The Mandalorian and Grogu Continue to Be Star War’s Biggest Stars

Over the last couple of years, we have see the Mandalorian and Grogu continue to expand their presence at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The duo’s meet and greet continues to be one of the land’s most popular offerings.

Additionally, Star Tours: The Adventures Continues added a new scene featuring both characters last year.

At last year’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, D’Amaro teased that Mando and Grogu would soon join the Smuggler’s Run adventure.

Now, we know that the characters will debut on the attraction over Memorial Day Weekend 2026. That will coincide with the release of The Mandalorian & Grogu!

According to Disney, the addition of Mando and Grogu will take guests on an all-new adventure, featuring locations including Cloud City and the wreckage of the second Death Star.

With The Mandalorian & Grogu set to hit theaters in 2026, we should continue to see more and more of the characters.
