BDX Droids Are Coming to Disney World, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland
Disney Experiences chairman Josh D’Amaro and Disney Entertainment co-chairman Alan Bergman took the stage at SXSW today to present The Future of World-Building at Disney.
The showcase examined the intersection of technology and storytelling at Disney and gave fans a peek into the company’s future.

To kick things off, Disney previewed many of the Star Wars offerings that will soon debut at the Disney Parks.
Star Wars Kicked Things Off
After starting their presentation, Bergman and D’Amaro turned the stage over to Jon Favreau and Imagineers Leslie and Asa.
A group of BDX droids joined them for the presentation.

After giving audiences an inside look at how the droids are trained and programmed, the group made a special announcement- the BDX droids are coming to Disney Parks around the world!
Here Come the Droids
While we have previously seen BDX droids appear at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland for Season of the Force, guests at other parks will soon be able to join in on the fun.

Later this year, the BDX droids will debut at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
They will also make their debut at Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris!
Star Wars Fans Have Reason to Celebrate
In addition to the arrival of the new BDX droids, Disney also announced that the Mandalorian and Grogu will soon join Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run for an all new adventure!
