PHOTOS: Construction Walls Surround West Side Starbucks in Disney Springs

Something is brewing at Disney Springs, where the West Side Starbucks has closed for a major refurbishment.

The closure was announced earlier this week, when the Starbucks took to social media to warn fans that the popular location would be shuttered for a few months.

“This has been a long time coming and we cannot wait to share with you all the exciting things coming to West Side!” the location explained in their post.

“We are anticipating to be down for renovation till late June, and will continue to update you on the status of our remodel.”

Construction Walls Have Gone Up

Just five days after the closure was announced, construction walls have gone up around the West Side Starbucks location.

A large sign on the wall asks guests to visit the Starbucks in the Disney Springs Marketplace if they want to get their coffee fix. The sign also assures customers, “We can’t wait to see you again!”

While Disney has not released an update on the West Side Starbucks refurbishment, the Marketplace Starbucks recently reopened after undergoing a renovation of its own.

By the look of things, Starbucks simply wants to spruce up its Disney Springs stores.

When Will the Location Reopen?

With a target reopening date in June, guests won’t have to wait too long for the West Side Starbucks to reopen. For now, however, they must visit the Marketplace location to get their brew.
