‘World of Color Happiness!’ Will Feature a Message From More Than a Dozen Muppets
On May 16, 2025, Disneyland Resort will officially kick off its 70th Celebration, and we here at MickeyBlog could not be more excited.
Needless to say, Disney is planning a massive celebration as The Happiest Place on Earth commemorates seven decades of making magic and memories.
So far, the resort has announced updates to “it’s a small world,” the debut of the first ever Walt Disney audio-animatronic, the return of Paint the Night, and more.

‘World of Color Happiness!’
One of the most exciting new offerings will be World of Color Happiness!
The new show is inspired by Walt Disney’s famous greeting: “To all who come to this happy place…welcome!” and will feature Joy and the rest of Riley’s Emotions, transporting guests to the “core of happy.”

“With a touch of Disney magic, World of Color Happiness! paints the different emotional colors that embody happiness. See it happen, as Paradise Bay is transformed into an enchanting place with a brilliant array of signature fountains, dynamic lighting, colorful lasers, fog and dramatic flame effects—creating awe and wonder,” Disney teases on the show’s website.
Previously, Disney announced that throughout World of Color Happiness!, guests will hear some of their favorite songs from Turning Red, A Goofy Movie, Tangled, The Lion King, and more. Now, we can add another iconic song to that list.
When World of Color Happiness! debuts, the show will feature a special message from more than a dozen of The Muppets!
Additionally, Boyz II Men will also perform a rendition of “Rainbow Connection” in the show.
