A Look at the Recent Refurbishments at Disney World’s Value Resorts
Disney World is almost constantly making changes and improvements around the resort! We see big ride refurbishments happening, as well as smaller projects that can make a big difference.
Now, Disney is sharing a look at some of the recent updates at their Value resorts!
Refurbishments at Disney’s Value Resorts
New Color Scheme & Coffee Shop at Pop Century Resort
Disney’s Pop Century Resort showcases pop culture throughout past decades. Now, it has a fresh color scheme and some bold new seating areas!

Disney Imagineers say that the updates were inspired by the resort’s bold exterior, saying, “Taking point from the over-the-top and colorful outdoor elements, we worked on making the inside of the resort as fun as the outside!”

This vision is seen all throughout the redesign. Disney Imagineers also said, “We’re revisiting these decades in a fresh, fun, and very ‘Disney’ way. Throughout the renovation, we made sure to keep the visuals engaging and energetic, creating a joyful, family-friendly experience.”

But, there’s even more to look forward to! A brand-new coffee shop is coming soon to the resort and will offer specialty beverages to help perk up guests throughout the day.
New Character Murals at the All-Star Resorts
At Disney’s All-Star Resorts, there are some new character murals with a bunch of hidden details!

“The mural designs have so much whimsy and humor injected into them. You can’t take a few steps without finding a new funny gag moment,” said one of the Disney Imagineers behind the project.

You can see Goofy hyping up the crowd at All-Star Sports, Mickey conducting a grand orchestra at All-Star Music, and Donald embracing his time in the spotlight at All-Star Movies. Also, keep an eye out for the grilling bear that’s snuck into the band at All-Star Music!

New Food Court at All-Star Movies Resort
The World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort has been reimagined with a fresh new look while staying true to its classic movie theater theming.

Mickey and friends are seen in brand-new parody movie posters, each one a playful nod to Disney’s storytelling tradition.You can also see film strip-inspired tiling and open sightlines that make for a more comfortable, Hollywood-inspired atmosphere.

Refreshed Store at All-Star Sports Resort
Finally, at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Sports Goofy Gifts & Sundries got a fresh update! It’s got a bright new look while keeping the fun, sporty spirit guests love. One of the new touches is the addition of brand-new hardwood floors designed to feel like stepping onto your favorite court.

And, guests can now see playful graphics of Goofy on top of the displays, showing off his best moves in different sports, like swinging for a home run, scoring a goal, or going for a slam dunk.
