‘The Greatest Showman’ Musical Sets 2026 Premiere Date & Opens Auditions

Disney have just announced that The Greatest Showman: The New Musical will officially open to guests in 2026!
Ever since Disney revealed they were working on this adaptation back at last year’s D23 Expo, fans of the 2017 smash-hit flick have been eagerly awaiting more news about this hihgly-anticipated production. Now, we’re thrilled to be able to report details about dates, locations, and even audition information… so keep reading to learn all you need to know…

Will This Be The Greatest Show?
If you’ve seen The Greatest Showman, you’ll probably agree that the Hugh Jackman-led film was almost certainly destined to be performed on stage. Full of spectacle, substance, and style, the show seems perfect for a theatrical adaptation…and Disney Productions definitely seems like the best company to take the job!
Today, it has been announced that a premiere date of Spring 2026 has been set for the show, and it’s the UK’s Bristol Hippodrome that will play home to the production.
Fans will be thrilled to hear that all the iconic Grammy award-winning and Academy Award-nominated songs from the film — written by EGOT winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul — will all feature in the show, as well as some brand-new tunes written especially for the stage production.
The book is written by Emmy nominee Tim Federle, and it’s the two-time Tony Award-winning Casey Nicolaw who will be directing and choreographing the musical. Nicholaw is also behind the production of Disney’s Hercules, which will be opening in London this June!

Open Auditions
