The festival has officially blossomed in EPCOT, packing the park with character topiaries and floral arrangements, spring-themed activities, and festival bites! And all this fun has worked up quite the appetite, so let’s head over to one of the festival kitchens!

That’s all great, but let’s be honest–we’re here for the food! Here are the citrus-focused items being served at The Citrus Blossom:

Let’s jump right in with the Citrus-baked Bri with orange-lemon marmalade, limoncello-macerated blueberries, and spiced marcona almonds! It’s definitely an interesting dish–but we mean that in the best way possible. The brie and marmalade combo was super delicious, and the pastry was nice and flaky.

It has great flavor and texture, courtesy of the almonds and macerated berries. This is definitely a more unique item, so we recommend this to adventurous eaters!

Next up is the plant-based Lumpia with plant-based pork, green papaya salad, and yuzu sweet-and-sour! This hit the spot–it was crispy on the outside with well-seasoned plant-based pork on the inside.

The glaze packs a punch of citrus–much more than in past years. Overall, this is a solid item!

Now, we’re digging into the Orange-Sesame Tempura Shrimp with orange-chile sauce! The tempura shrimp is delicious and crispy–cooked perfectly and not fishy-tasting. The sauce has a slight kick to it, which is balanced out by the sweetness of the orange.

For dessert, we got the plant-based Lemon Tart with lemon curd, blood orange fluid gel, aquafaba meringues, and raspberry powder! The tart is extremely…well…tart. The lemon curd is packed with sour flavor. You do get a bit of sweetness, but we would’ve hoped for more to help balance out the tartness.

You can definitely taste the lemon and blood orange, but honestly, we think it would’ve been best to stick to only one of those flavors. The combo overwhelmed our tastebuds.
