Spirit Airlines to Debut New Columbia to Orlando Route This June

Traveling from Columbia, South Carolina to Walt Disney World is about to get a lot easier, as Spirit Airlines has announced that it will begin providing service from the Palmetto State to Florida.

Beginning this June, Spirit will offer nonstop service from Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and the only nonstop flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO).

“We’re excited to kick off our Columbia service just in time for summer and deliver a great value to visit some of the most popular leisure destinations along the East Coast,” said John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines.

“Travelers from South Carolina’s capital city will soon enjoy convenient nonstop options and Spirit’s recently transformed experience on their way to various destinations with beaches, theme parks and big city attractions.”

The New Florida Routes Will Begin in June

Spirit’s new Florida service will begin at CAE on June 5. According to the airline, guests will have travel options ranging from premium to economical.

A Special Introductory Offer

Guests traveling between Columbus and Fort Lauderdale or Orlando from June 5 through August 12, 2025, can take advantage of an introductory fare starting at $50 for one-way travel.
