RealFX Disney Stitch Puppetronic Wins Toy of the Year
This past weekend, the 25th Annual Toy of the Year Awards (TOTY) was held in New York and delivered some pretty big news for Lilo & Stitch fans.

WOW Stuff! was front and center at this year’s awards winning Toy of the Year and Tech Toy of the Year for the RealFX Disney Stitch Puppetronic.
This adorable animatronic puppet captures the mischievous charm of everyone’s favorite blue alien! It was also the only product to win multiple awards at this year’s event.
Other Winners
While Stitch garnered the most attention, other top honors went to equally impressive toys and licenses.
BBC Studios earned License of the Year for Bluey, while Mattel took home Game of the Year for UNO Show ’em No Mercy.
Hasbro claimed Action Figure of the Year with Transformers One Power Flip Optimus Prime (Orion Pax), based on the upcoming Transformers One movie.
ZURU brought home the Creative Toy of the Year award for Mini Brands Create: MasterChef, which lets kids whip up mini culinary treats like ramen and apple pie.
People’s Choice & Hall of Fame
Consumer votes named Story Time Learning’s Story Time Backgammon the People’s Choice winner, highlighting its kid-friendly twist on the classic board game.
In addition, the TOTY ceremony celebrated three new inductees into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame—former Build-A-Bear Workshop CEO Maxine Clark, Learning Express Toys founder Sharon DiMinico, and Erno Rubik, creator of the iconic Rubik’s Cube.
