LA Style Serves Bao Burgers & More at the 2025 DCA Food & Wine Festival
It’s the first day of the 2025 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, and the event is off with a bang this year!
Treats, drinks, entertainment, and more…there’s so much to see and do!
Right now, your MickeyBloggers are having a bite to eat, and our next stop is the LA Style marketplace booth.
This place is known for taking classic dishes and serving them with a twist, so let’s hop on over there to see what’s on the menu!
LA Style
There are two food items on the menu here at LA Style, and also one cocktail option for those of you looking to treat yourself!
We didn’t order the drink today, but we’ll tell you about it here! It’s the Cantarito-Style Paloma, which blends Reposado tequila, lime & habanero-infused pineapple juices, rock melon syrup, and Fresca. That costs $17.25.
Now, who’s ready for some food?
Mini LA Street Dog
The first item we tried was the Mini LA Street Dog, which cost $8 on the menu. Served with jalapeno mayo, pepper & onion relish, and Nueske’s applewood-smoked bacon bits, this definitely looked like a loaded option!
So, what did our reporters think?
Well, this was a bit of a hit-and-miss for our team. Yes, the hot dog and bread bun were fresh and tasty, and the bacon bits on top were beautiful in flavor and really added to the dog.
However, that saucy topping? A bit too spicy for us, unfortunately!
If you like heat, this hot dog is probably for you. However, for our MickeyBloggers, the taste was just a bit too spicy.
A case of personal preference, for sure — so we’ll let you be the judge of whether or not you order this one!
Western BBQ Burger Bao
Next up, we ordered this unique-looking burger bao bun, also known as the Western BBQ Burger Bao. This comes served drizzled in sweet barbeque sauce and topped with crispy onions and those same bacon bits we saw on the hot dog.
Nice, right?
To balance the hot dog, we’re thrilled to say our reporters really enjoyed this burger bao. The burger itself was fine, yet the sweetness from the sauce and crispiness from the onions really elevated the whole dish, which cost us $9.50.
We’d certainly order this one again and recommend it over the mini street dog option!
So, what do you think? Will you be swinging by LA Style on your next visit to the 2025 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival?
