WATCH: Cassian Joins the Rebel Alliance in Explosive New ‘Andor’ Season 2 Trailer
Two-and-a-half years after the series initially debuted, the highly anticipated second season of Andor will finally arrive on April 22.
When we last saw Cassian Andor, he had committed himself to the Rebellion and was flying away with Luthen Rael. The second season of the series will follow Cassian’s journey over the next four years, leading up to the events of Rogue One.
To facilitate this storytelling, the 12-episode second season of Andor will jump one year ahead every three episodes.

“One of the great thrills of making ‘Andor’ is the scale of the story and the number of characters we’re able to meet — ordinary people, Imperial overlords, passionate revolutionaries,” series creator Gilroy said in a statement teasing the season.
“They are real people making epic decisions, all of them staring down questions with terrifying consequences. Cassian’s journey is the soul and spine of our story, but it’s the choir that makes the show. I’m so excited for audiences to see where we go in Season 2.”
A New Trailer Has Arrived
Ahead of Andor‘s return, Lucasfilm has released an explosive new trailer for the show’s second season.

Set to Steve Earle’s “The Revolution Starts Now,” the new trailer shows Cassian, Ferric, and Saw Gerrera jumping into action.

“We’re in a war. You wanna fight? Or you wanna win?” Cassian defiantly asks at the beginning of the clip.
