Lightning Lane Premier Passes Now Unavailable for Today in Disney World
We’ve seen a lot of changes to the “skipping the line” systems at Disney World over the years. FastPasses changed into Genie+, and now they’re just called Lightning Lanes!

Frozen Ever After
But it’s not as simple as FastPass used to be — there are different ways you can take advantage of the Lightning Lane system, including the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

And, the Premier Passes for today are no longer available in Disney World!
Premier Pass Sold Out
Premier Passes are no longer available for today, February 20th, in Disney World.

We noticed they were gone a little before 5PM this afternoon. Right now, it’s unclear if they sold out or if Disney simple stops selling them after a certain point in the day.
These passes are available in very limited quantities, so it’s entirely possible that they sold out.

We actually noticed that some passes are sold out for upcoming dates, too. Passes for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are sold out for February 21st…

If you’re unfamiliar, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows one-time entry to each Lightning Lane experience in the Disney World theme parks (whichever one you choose to purchase for that day). Disney is piloting the rollout of this experience right now.
Lightning Lane
How it works is that guests get one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane experience in one park for one day. You don’t have to book times for these rides or worry about a return window or anything, you just show up and get in the Lightning Lane for the ride!
It also grants you access to photo perks like digital downloads of select attraction photos and videos and Disney PhotoPass Lenses.

If you’re staying at a Disney World Resort hotel (and a few other select hotels), you can buy these passes up to 7 days in advance of your stay. All other guests can buy them up to 3 days in advance of their visit.

Pricing for these passes change depending on the date and the theme park you choose.
