Daria Cercek Leaves Paramount to Head Disney’s Live-Action Theatrical Division
Walt Disney Studios has named Daria Cercek president of the studio’s live-action division, completing a restructuring of the unit that began last year.
In February 2024, Sean Bailey exited as president of Disney’s live-action division. He was subsequently replaced by Searchlight’s David Greenbaum, who was given the newly appointed title of head of Live Action and 20th Century Studios. At the time, Disney merged the two live-action film divisions into a single unit.
Now, Cereck will join a leadership team under Greenbaum that includes Steve Asbell (head of 20th Century Studios) and Vanessa Morrison (head of Disney live-action on streaming).
