1. Noise Machine
It’s no surprise that SLEEP is the key to a successful Disney vacation. After all, there’s nothing like pure exhaustion to make the heat seem hotter, the lines feel longer, and the crowds feel extra overwhelming.

Nobody wants to spend their vacation unrested and cranky, so we always bring a noise machine like the Homedics SoundSleep White Noise Sound Machine.

This one is travel-sized and surprisingly light, so it won’t weigh down your suitcase. Better yet? It’ll muffle your next-door neighbor’s blaring TV and the sounds of tiny feet running up and down the hallway. You can thank me later.

2. Hanging Closet Organizer
Living out of a hotel room isn’t always easy, especially if you’re sharing that room with several other people. Your Disney World hotel room may not have tons of storage space, but this Amazon Basics 6-Tier Hanging Closet Organizer will help you make the most of it.

The foldable fabric organizer fits easily into your suitcase and gives you plenty of extra space to store clothes, bags, Minnie ears, and more.

3. Slippers
While some Disney World hotel rooms still have carpet flooring, many have been upgraded to wood-like alternatives.

Unsurprisingly, “hardwood” floors are a lot easier to keep clean in high-traffic spaces. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a DEFINITIVE perk in any hotel room!
Still, wood floors can be a bit chilly on the feet, so if you prefer to keep your toes toasty, be sure to pack a pair of slippers! We like these slip-resistant Dearfoams Memory Foam Clogs, which are easy to slip on and off.

4. Ziploc Bags
Ziploc bags are a must-have for any hotel stay, anywhere. In Disney World, they come in pretty handy for all kinds of things, from keeping your belongings dry on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to storing snacks to save for later.

Be sure to bring some to keep in your hotel room, and stash a few in your park bag each day.

5. First Aid Kit
While Disney World can certainly help in a healthcare crisis, it’s always smart to have your own First Aid Kit on hand. Look for a kit that includes basic necessities like bandages, gauze, and antibiotic ointment.

We like this Johnson & Johnson Travel Ready First Aid Kit for its functionality AND its small size, which makes it perfect for throwing in your park bag each day.

6. Pop-Up Hamper
For many of us, a trip to Disney World involves more than a few wardrobe changes – especially if you’re visiting during the hot summer months! Naturally, this can lead to an overload of dirty laundry. To better manage your dirty clothes (and keep your hotel room clean), bring along a pop-up hamper like this Handy Laundry Collapsible Mesh Pop-Up Hamper.

You’ll keep your floors free of dirty socks, AND make it easier to head to the laundry room if needed. As an added bonus, these mesh hampers are SUPER light and easy to pack.

7. Dish Soap
If you’re bringing reusable water bottles to keep you hydrated in the parks, remember to bring dish soap to clean them with! We also like to have dish soap on hand to wash in-room glassware and coffee mugs.

While a few Disney World hotel rooms do come stocked with dish soap (see: deluxe studios and multi-room villas), it’s not something you’ll find in a standard room. Our favorite is Dawn PlatinumFoam — with its handy pump, it can double as a hand soap for the bathroom counter.
