Recycling the Magic Opens Disney-Themed Vintage Collectible Store Near Disney World

If you are a fan of Disney history, then I have great news.

Recycling the Magic, a staple of the Lakeland Antique Mall for years, has opened its own retail location just miles away from Walt Disney World!

Located at 16415 W Colonial Dr in Oakland, FL, the new vintage collectible store is chock-full of remnants of Disney’s past.

So, let’s step inside, shall we?

A Walk Down Memory Lane

When you walk into Recycling the Magic, you will see props, collectibles, and ephemera from throughout Disney’s history.

If you are a Walt Disney World fan, that Camp Minnie-Mickey sign and the large map hanging on the wall should look familiar!

The store holds a treasure trove of historical items from all over the country. Look at that World of Disney rug!

Many items for sale are genuine antiques, including this display of original Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs collectibles.

Here, you can see numerous Disney costumes, a vehicle door from Kilimanjaro Safaris, and a number of manuals and informational binders.

Does anyone recognize this guy?

These shelves are full of linen from different Disney resorts.

Even More Treasures

Recycling the Magic is the place for you if you are a fan of Disney signs, flags, and artwork.

Here is another look.

These Donald, Huey, Dewey, and Louie figures came from Disneyland. As you can see, they are wearing fabric clothes.

Initially, Disneyland dressed its figures this way, but it changed to molded clothing after the fabric was damaged by high-intensity lights.

I ADORE this Fort Wilderness Railroad miniature. What a throwback to a unique time in the resort’s history.

As you can see, Recycling the Magic has a ton of treasure from Disney’s past, and we have only scratched the surface here.
