Jenna Bush Hager Salutes Veterans and Visits Her Father’s Exhibit at EPCOT
Last June, American Adventure unveiled a new exhibit titled Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warrior.
The special exhibition, housed in the National Heritage Gallery, is comprised of paintings of veterans by former President George W. Bush. The portraits depict military members who have served our country since 9/11 and have come to know former President Bush personally.

To commemorate President’s Day, Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of former President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, visited EPCOT to connect with veteran Cast Members.
A Salute to Veterans
At the event, Jenna discussed her father’s and grandfather’s service and reaffirmed the Bush family’s commitment to supporting veterans.

In her honor, Jenna was presented with an American flag flown over EPCOT and a special SALUTE military challenge coin, which was given in recognition of her support for the military community.
On hand for the festivities were Walt Disney World Ambassador Shannon-Smith Conrad, Walt Disney Imagineers who worked on the Portraits of Courage exhibit, and members of Disney SALUTE, the company’s employee resource group that “honors and empowers our Cast Members with military backgrounds, families, and those with an affinity for military service.”

Mickey Mouse, who was dressed in a colonial outfit, also attended the event!
