Uncovering the Mystery of Disney’s Most Infamous Heist
First announced in 2022, Stolen Kingdom dives deep into the world of urban explorers who secretly… and likely illegally… navigate Disney’s theme parks.
This film documents the mischief, pranks, and ultimately, the crime that led to the disappearance of an animatronic valued at nearly half a million dollars. As one interviewee in the trailer puts it, if Buzzy really was stolen, it was “the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ of Walt Disney World.”

Produced by White Lake Productions and Bright Sun Films, the documentary is directed by Joshua Bailey and written by Bailey and Matthew Serrano, known for his work with the popular Defunctland YouTube channel.

The documentary will have its world premiere at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in Missoula, Montana, screening Sunday, February 16th at 8:00 PM at the historic Wilma Theatre.
