Prehistoric & Shakespeare Gardens Arrive at EPCOT For the 2025 Flower & Garden Festival
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we can’t wait for the 2025 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival.
From March 5 through June 2, spring will bloom at EPCOT as horticultural displays, topiaries, and flower beds decorate the park. Additionally, the festival promises unique experiences, new merchandise, and, of course, food!
With just weeks to go until the Flower & Garden festival kicks off, we have already seen EPCOT start to prepare. The last time we checked in, topiaries had arrived at the World Showcase, and flower beds were beginning to be installed.
Now, I am happy to report that more fan-favorite horticultural displays have arrived!
Prehistoric Garden
Over in World Discovery, the Prehistoric Garden has made its debut.
The fan-favorite display features plants that have existed since prehistoric times.
The foliage is displayed in large planters, which also hold small dinosaurs!
While the Universe of Energy no longer takes guests back to the time of the dinosaurs, guests can still get their prehistoric fix at EPCOT.
Searching for all the dinosaur figures is a blast!
The rocks scattered throughout the garden also hold shells, skeletons, and other nods to the past.
Here is another look.
If you plan on visiting EPCOT, make sure you stop by the Prehistoric Garden and check it out for yourself!
Shakespeare Garden
After exploring the Prehistoric Garden, we headed to the United Kingdom pavilion, where the Shakespeare Garden was in bloom.
The Shakespeare Garden holds flowers that inspired the writer and even includes excerpts from some of the bard’s most famous sonnets!
A bust of Shakespeare looks out over the garden.
If you are a literature fan, this is the garden for you. It is beautiful and educational — everything that EPCOT should be!
More Flower Beds Arrive
Earlier this week, we brought you the exciting news that Disney had begun planting flower beds for this year’s Flower & Garden Festival.
Well, I am now happy to report that even more flowers have been installed.
As you can see, the flower beds continue to create a pattern of butterflies and flower bulbs.
Here is another look!
A Goofy Topiary
Last but certainly not least, a Goofy topiary has been installed amid the flower beds.
It looks like everyone’s favorite goof has been tasked with tending the garden.
Based on Goofy’s face, he seems to be having a great time!
The 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will take place from March 5 through June 2. I, for one, can’t wait!
