ALL FOUR Disney World Lightning Lane Premier Passes Sell Out This Weekend
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the popularity of the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
Disney introduced the Premier Pass last October as the highest tier of the Disney Lightning Lane system. Initially exclusive to Walt Disney World hotel guests, the pass allows a one-time entry to each Lightning Lane experience at a single park.

Additionally, guests do not need to schedule their arrival for each Lightning Lane attraction. They can simply show up and ride!
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass Has Sold Out Numerous Times This Month
Last month, Disney World announced that it was expanding Lightning Lane Premier and allowing all guests to purchase the premium offering. Since then, the pass’s popularity has exploded.

The last time we checked in, the Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Pass sold out from February 11 through February 19. Additionally, the Hollywood Studios Premier Pass was sold on February 15 and 16.
All Four Parks Have Sold Out on February 15
Now, I am back to report that the EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Passes have also sold out for February 15. This marks the first time that all four Disney World parks have had their Lightning Lane Premier Passes sell out on the same date.
Before they sold out, the EPCOT Lightning Lane Premier Pass cost $209, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Premier Pass was priced at $139.
One of the big questions surrounding the Lightning Lane Premier Pass at Walt Disney World has been the service’s viability outside of Magic Kingdom. So far, the vast majority of sellouts have occurred at the resort’s flagship park.
Today’s news, however, shows there is at least some demand for the Lightning Lane Premium Pass at Disney World’s other parks. I should also note that in addition to sellouts at EPCOT and Animal Kingdom on February 15, the Hollywood Studios Premier Pass has sold out on February 16.
Any way you slice the data, the Lighting Lane Premier Pass looks like a roaring success for Disney.
