Elevating Orlando International Airport with North Terminal Renovations
If you are visiting Walt Disney World, you will likely fly into and come through Orlando International Airport (MCO). This airport sees over 57.7 million passengers, and is increasing yearly.

MCO is updating the busy airport and investing in multiple renovations that will improve the overall travel experience.
An Improved Experience
MCO recently announced one of the first major updates. By 2027, all four of MCO’s parking garages (Garages A, B, C, and the Terminal Top) will feature an advanced, camera-based system that provides real-time parking availability.

In addition to better parking, MCO is updating its A and B Terminals. Continuing In the spirit and momentum of major renovations to the Main Terminal in 2018 and the completion of Terminal C in 2022, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s (GOAA) goal is to bring the remaining facilities up to those elevated standards.
The scope will consist of the design and construction of Landside and Airside refurbishment.
Enhancements are coming soon for the North Terminal, including:
-Upgraded restrooms
-Enhanced baggage claim and rental car areas
-Seating additions
-Lighting improvement
-Wayfinding optimization
The ultimate goal is to enhance the passenger experience through innovative updates over the next decade.
With the design phase already in progress, substantial completion is expected by 2028.
