So, without further ado, here is what fans have to look forward to.
A Sherman Brothers Tribute Is Coming to the Main Street Cinema
In tribute to the lasting impact of the Sherman Brothers, the Main Street Cinema will be showing The Last Verse beginning July 17.
The featurette showcases the impact of “it’s a small world” on people around the globe. It also highlights Richard’s final gift to Disney, a new third and final verse for the song, “it’s a small world.”

The Last Verse originally aired during The Untold Story of Mary Poppins: A Special Edition of 20/20 on ABC. It was also shown during Jolly Holiday: A D23 Musical Celebration of Richard M. Sherman at D23: The Ultimate Fan Event.

While fans can enjoy the featurette on YouTube and Disney+, seeing the short film in Disneyland will be a special experience.
Additionally, Disney will be adding Richard Sherman’s new verse to “it’s a small world.” The new soundtrack will debut on July 17.
A New Gallery Is Coming to the Main Street Opera House
For Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, the Main Street Opera House will debut an all-new gallery focused on the creation and evolution of Disneyland. Included inside the exhibit will be images, art, and artifacts that show Disneyland before, during, and after Walt’s dream became a reality.

The exhibit has been curated by Walt Disney Imagineering and the Walt Disney Archives and will include items that have never been seen before by the public.
Further in the Opera Hosue, a special exhibit dedicated to the development of Audio-Animatronic technology will be housed.
Finally, 30 artifacts from The Walt Disney Family Museum will be displayed in the Opera House lobby. These will include original items from Walt’s private apartment above the Main Street Fire Station!
Additionally, the Walt Disney Family Museum is loaning some of Walt’s accolades to the gallery. These will include his 1955 Emmy for Walt Disney’s Disneyland and his Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Walt Disney — A Magical Life
After making their way through the Opera House, guests will be able to enjoy the all-new show, Walt Disney — A Magical Life.
Through remastered footage and audio recordings, guests will follow Walt’s story from his birth in Chicago through the creation of Disneyland. The attraction will also feature the first-ever Walt Disney animatronic!

As they exit the theater, guests can view moments from Disneyland’s history as the park moves forward without Walt’s guidance.
