Following in the footsteps of the Marvel & Disney What If…? comics that imagined what would happen had Mickey and friends suited up as Earth’s Mightiest Heroes or Marvel’s First Family, Disney and Marvel are teaming up again.
This time around, Donald Duck will take to the sky as the Invincible Iron Man in Marvel & Disney: What If…? Donald Duck Became Iron Man #1.

A New Take on Fan-Favorite Story
The new one-shot comic was inspired by the first appearance of Iron Man in 1959’s Tales of Suspense #39. That issue was written by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby.

Marvel & Disney: What If…? Donald Duck Became Iron Man #1 was written by Luca Barbieri and Steve Behling and drawn by Donald Soffritti. The new What If…? promises a “quack-tastic” twist on Tony Stark’s origin story.
“Packed with all the mischief and hijinks fans expect from a Donald Duck adventure, the one-shot spotlights a rare side of the world’s most famous duck as Donald uses his genius intellect to become a high-flying armored avenger!” Marvel teases.

In Marvel & Disney: What If…? Donald Duck Became Iron Man #1, Donald Duck finds himself captured by the Beagle Boys and forced to build a machine to break into Scrooge McDuck’s Money Bin!
Donald, however, has other plans and instead builds a super-powered suit of armor.
