PHOTOS: Minnie Strikes a Heroic Pose on the Disney Destiny’s Bow
Now that the Disney Treasure has officially launched and is transporting passengers throughout the Caribbean, all eyes have turned to the development of the Disney Destiny.
The sister ship to the Treasure and the Disney Wish, the Destiny will draw inspiration from classic Disney stories. It will also have a Heroes & Villains theme.
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the development of the Disney Destiny and passing along updates along the way. So far, we have gotten a first look at the ship’s staterooms, seen concept art for the Cask and Cannon, and explored the details of the new Cruella de Vil piano lounge.

Now, however, I want to take you to Papenburg, Germany, where the Destiny is currently being built!
The Ship’s Bow Artwork Has Been Completed
With the construction of the ship itself now completed, the team at the Meyer Werft shipyard has turned their attention to completing the details of the Destiny’s exterior.
First on their list was the beautiful artwork featuring Minnie Mouse that will be found on the ship’s bow. Minnie’s heroic pose not only makes for whimsical decor but also perfectly represents the ship’s “Heroes and Villains” theme.

With just months to go until the newest Disney Cruise Line vessel sets sail, Meyer Werft will continue to work on the Disney Destiny’s details.
I, for one, can’t wait to see what they do next!
