Walt Disney World Is Getting Ready to Host This Year’s Super Bowl Champions
We may not know who will win the Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night, but we do know one thing — whoever takes home the Lombardi Trophy will be heading to Walt Disney World to celebrate.
In a tradition that dates back to 1987, the biggest stars from the winning Super Bowl team will celebrate their championship with a trip to Disney.

Here is what we know.
A Time-Honored Tradition
For almost 40 years, the NFL’s biggest game has been capped off with the iconic phrase, “I’m going to Disney…”
Traditionally, players will go to Disneyland the next day when the Super Bowl is held on the West Coast. If it is on the East Coast or in the South, they travel to Walt Disney World.

With this year’s Super Bowl being held in New Orleans, the winning players will be whisked off to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Last year, with the big game in Las Vegas, Disneyland hosted the Super Bowl-winning Chiefs.
Disney World Is Getting Ready
In anticipation of Monday’s festivities, Walt Disney World took to social media and announced they were looking forward to celebrating the winner of Super Bowl LIX.

At this time, Disney World has not announced what time the festivities will kick off. We do know, however, that the Super Bowl winners participate in a parade at Magic Kingdom.
