The Long-Awaited ‘Phineas and Ferb’ Revival Will Debut This Summer on Disney+
The highly-anticipated revival of Phineas and Ferb will officially land on Disney+ this summer.
Series co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh shared the good news today, explaining that a summer debut just felt right.
“Since ‘Phineas and Ferb’ is essentially a celebration of summer vacation, summer is the perfect time to debut the new season,” the executive producers said in a statement to Variety. “We have had such a great time diving back into this world and the entire cast and crew have really brought their A-game. We cannot wait to see fans’ reactions to what is shaping up to be our favorite season yet.”
The Revival Was Announced in 2023
Initially announced in 2023, the Phineas and Ferb revival will be a continuation of the original series. Disney Branded Television has ordered 40 more episodes of the cult-favorite cartoon, which will split into two seasons.
“The new season of ‘Phineas and Ferb’ will follow the inventive stepbrothers as they tackle another 104 days of summer,” the revival’s synopsis reads.
