ALERT: Droid Depot in Disneyland Will No Longer Offer Reservations
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park is a dream destination for Star Wars fans near and far.

With its immersive theming, character encounters, and not one but TWO incredible attractions, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge brings the Star Wars universe to life in a way that STILL doesn’t quite seem possible.
Of course, this is also where guests can build their own, customized Star Wars gear. Want your very own lightsaber? Head over to Savi’s Workshop! Want your own DROID? Proceed directly to Droid Depot!

While a visit to either of these locations has always required advance reservations, change is afoot at Droid Depot!
The out-of-this-galaxy hotspot will soon STOP taking reservations, and operate on a walk-up basis only.

Droid Depot Will No Longer Require Reservations
When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in Disneyland back in 2019, the craze was REAL for custom-built lightsabers and droids.

To snag a spot for the experience, guests were required to make advance reservations — and also to pay in advance.
Yes, you could sometimes score a same-day reservation (or even walk up on a slow day!), but some form of pre-planning was generally necessary.

As of March 17th, 2025, Droid Depot at Disneyland Park will NO LONGER OFFER RESERVATIONS.

Yup, that’s exactly what it sounds like! Droid Depot will not only NOT require reservations as of March 17th, but the location will not offer advance reservations at all.
That means that after this date, all guests will need to score a walk-up spot for the experience, and will be served on a first come, first served basis.
