See New Orleans Square Decorated for Mardi Gras at Disneyland!
With Mardi Gras right around the corner, there’s one section of the Disneyland Park which is looking livelier then ever right now.
Come with us to New Orleans Square, and let’s check out these festive new decorations!
New Orleans Square
It’s always exciting to see new seasonal decorations be added to the Disney parks.
No matter the time of year, we can always count on the Imagineers to create a spectacle so festive, we instantly feel ready for celebration!
However, there’s something truly special about seeing New Orleans Square all dolled up for Mardi Gras.
After all, this quaint, beautiful, Louisiana-inspired corner of the park was simply made for the beads and banners of this mischievous March celebration!
Looking up at the buildings, we can see so many strings of bright and colorful beads strung from windows, awnings, railings… and really anywhere else they will hang from!
Beads of all different sizes hang from so many strings, in bright colors, metallics, patterns… there’s just so many to look at!
We can also see garlands made from ribbons and bows, as well as feathers and other foliage.
We love the big, hat-wearing baubles you can see in the photo below, and not forgetting those adorable jester dolls perched on the balconies, too!
Most eye-catching of all, we can see a series of huge masks affixed to walls and windows, ready to watch down as New Orleans Square celebrates the season in true Disneyland fashion!
Like with any celebration, you can always rely on Disney to celebrate Mardi Gras in style – and that includes here at Disneyland and the parks over in Walt Disney World.
Our reporters found some tasty treats available last year, so we’ll be keeping a close eye out to see if we can find more things to savor for the 2025 festival!
We hope you’ve enjoyed admiring these spectacular Mardi Gras decorations here with us, and hope you’ll be able to visit them yourself in Disneyland ahead of the festival this March.
