The Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Pass Has SOLD OUT Today
When Walt Disney World officially launched the Lightning Lane Premier Pass last October, many people were skeptical that there would be a demand for the new luxury product.
As a quick recap, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the highest-tier Lightning Lane pass. Now available to all Disney World guests, the pass allows a one-time entry to each Lightning Lane experience at one park.

Additionally, guests do not need to schedule their arrival for each Lightning Lane attraction. They can simply show up and ride!
The Pass Has Proven to Be Popular
Four months after the launch of the Lightning Lane Premier Pass, it is clear that the new offering is a hit.
During the busy holiday season, we saw guests take advantage of the new Lightning Lane tier, which sold out on numerous days. Clearly, there is a demand for the product.
If we needed further proof that guests approved the Lightning Lane Premier Pass, it came today when the pass sold out for Magic Kingdom.
Another Premier Pass Sellout
With Walt Disney World in the midst of its “slow” season, crowds at Magic Kingdom are not expected to be overly large today. Nevertheless, guests have snapped up all of the available Lightning Lane Premier Passes.
Prior to selling out, the Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Pass was selling for $379.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out for Magic Kingdom today.
It should be noted that the Premier Pass has only been available to non-resort guests for a couple of weeks. Based on today’s sellout, it looks like non-resort guests have been waiting for the opportunity to utilize the newest Lightning Lane offering.
How popular the pass remains once the novelty has worn off, however, remains to be seen.
