ICONIC DISNEY SNACKS: Beer Battered Fish & Chips from EPCOT

Well, to help you figure out what items are must-eats, we’ve been revisiting iconic Disney snacks to see if they’re still some of the best you can get in the resort. (A selfless endeavor, we assure you.) Without further delay, let’s head over to EPCOT to try our next snack!

We’re at Yorkshire County Fish Shop in EPCOT to review their iconic snack, Beer Battered Fish & Chips!

The snack is $13.49 and comes with one large piece of fish and thick steak fries. It’s a little greasy, which is the status quo for fried foods–especially fish and chips. (We do wish it would’ve been strained better, however.)

The fish used for the snack changes depending on the market–they’re currently using pollock! (In the past, they’ve used cod, hake, and tilapia.) The snack is served with two tartar sauces which are not available at the condiments bar.

Okay, let’s dig in! The batter is super crispy with a delicious flavor (that doesn’t have a heavy beer taste). The fish tasted like a good quality white fish. The fries were thick and crispy on the outside, and soft inside.

This is a popular snack in EPCOT and we totally understand why! We definitely recommend grabbing (or Mobile Ordering) this during your next trip to EPCOT. Just be aware–there’s very limited seating at this location, so you may have to walk around to find a place to enjoy your fish & chips.
