Orlando International Airport Enhancing Parking with New Guidance System
If you are visiting Walt Disney World, you will likely be flying into and coming through Orlando International Airport (MCO). This airport sees over 57.7 million passengers, which is increasing yearly.
Elevating MCO: Parking Guidance System 🅿️
Our airport will be introducing a Parking Guidance System in our garages to help drivers find spaces, reduce congestion, and save time. The system is expected to be fully operational by 2027. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) is investing in a state-of-the-art Parking Guidance System to improve the overall travel experience.
The new system is designed to make finding a parking spot easier and more efficient.
An Improved Experience
By 2027, all four of MCO’s parking garages (Garages A, B, C, and the Terminal Top) will feature an advanced, camera-based system that provides real-time parking availability.

The lots will use color-coded lights to guide drivers to open spots. There are also digital signs at the garage entrances and throughout the facility displaying available spaces by lane.
This system is similar to those found at major theme parks, hospitals, and Disney Springs. The goal is to reduce the time and frustration spent searching for a parking space.

Are you traveling in or out of MCO? Here is what you need to know:
- Installation is set to begin in mid-2025 and will be completed in phases.
- The system will track approximately 11,000 spaces across MCO’s four garages.
- Additional surface lots—Atlantis, Endeavour, and Discovery—are available near the train station but require E-Pass or SunPass Plus for entry.
- A new Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC) is in progress. This will free up 4,500 additional parking spaces by 2032.
