The Golden Oak Home Formerly Owned By Bacardi Heir Has Been Sold Again
Last October, we brought you the news that Bacardi heir Hilda Maria Bacardi had sold her home in Golden Oak for an astounding $51.75 million.
For those who don’t know, Golden Oak is a luxury community of single-family homes located on Walt Disney World property. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, residents of Golden Oak get exclusive perks, including access to Disney Parks, concierge services, and numerous amenities.

Typically, homes in Golden Oak cost between $3 and 20 million dollars.
The Bacardi home was built in 2017 and features several Disney-themed roooms. These include a Frozen-themed bedroom with life-sized characters, a wintery mural and lights that mimic snow, a Finding Nemo room with a lofted nautical bed, and a Star Wars home theater.

The theater has automatic doors that emit the famous Star Wars wooshing sound, and background noises in the room feature lightsaber sounds and even R2-D2 iconic beeping.

Just months after the Golden Oak home was sold, the buyer relisted the mansion, asking for $15.85 million. For months, the residency has lingered on the market.
The Home Has Sold Again
Now, according to a report for Mansion Global, the home has been sold once again.
While information on the new owners is currently unavailable, they reportedly paid $14.5 million for the home. That means that the seller, who purchased the house just months ago, took a loss of $1.25 million.

Hopefully, the new owner is happy with their home, which, if you ask me, looks like a Disney fan’s dream.
