So, let’s take a look at some of Disney’s most famous serpents.
Kaa (The Jungle Book)
For generations of Disney fans, Kaa is the definitive Disney snake. Debuting in 1967’s The Jungle Book, Kaa mesmerized audiences with his hypnotic eyes and distinctive voice, which was provided by Disney Legend Sterling Holloway!

After The Jungle Book, Kaa would return with cameos in Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. He would also appear in The Jungle Book 2, House of Mouse, and Jungle Cubs.
Sir Hiss (Robin Hood)
Looking suspiciously similar to Kaa, Sir Hiss debuted in 1973’s Robin Hood.

As King John’s right-hand snake, Sir Hiss is best remembered for his greedy nature and the time he floated away in a balloon.
Madam Mim (The Sword in the Stone)
Madam Mim may not look like a serpent, but she isn’t above turning into one.

Appearing in 1963’s The Sword in the Stone, the sorceress transformed into a snake during her battle with Merlin!
Jafar (Aladdin)
Jafar’s affinity for snakes is apparent from the serpent staff that he carries.

His inner cobra came out during his battle with Aladdin, however, when he transformed himself into a giant snake. Jafar’s snake form also makes an appearance in Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Celia (Monsters, Inc.)
Like Medusa before here, Celia’s snazzy snake hair is a sight to behold.

Luckily, Mike Wazowski is clearly not afraid of serpents, as he took Celia out on a date!
Juju (The Princess and the Frog)
Mama Odie’s sidekick is always willing to “dig a little deeper” to help the voodoo priestess work her magic.

Originally appearing in The Princess and the Frog, you can also spot Juju in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Gary (Zootopia 2)
Last but certainly not least, we have Gary, a “creepy, slithery, highly venomous viper” who will make his debut in Zootopia 2.

Voiced by Key Huy Quan, the reptile will add a new wrinkle to the world of Zootopia. You can also spot Gary at Shanghai Disney Resort!
