Disney Celebrates 60 Years of Disney Ambassadors

Today marks 60 years of Disney Ambassadors, and Disney is ready to celebrate!

In case you missed it, the Disney Ambassador program began back in 1965 when Julie Reihm Casaletto was appointed as Disneyland’s very first Disney Ambassador. Fun fact, Disney now recognizes Casaletto as a full-fledged Disney Legend!

While the program originated in Disneyland, it’s since expanded to include Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort, and even Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii.

All across the globe, Disney Ambassadors serve as official Disney spokespeople, emissaries of goodwill, and Disney Cast Member representatives.

Since the program’s inception, over 240 incredible Disney Cast Members have served as Disney Ambassadors…
