Celebrating Black Heritage at Walt Disney World Resort
Tamron Hall Kicks Off the Parade

Disney
The celebration kicks off at Magic Kingdom with Emmy-winning journalist and talk show host Tamron Hall serving as Grand Marshal of the parade on February 1.
Join the festivities on Main Street at 3 p.m. to witness all of the fun.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Disney
While visiting the park, be sure to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This musical adventure features original songs by Grammy winner PJ Morton and carries on the story of Tiana.
Clap your hands and keep your eyes open for characters like Naveen, Mama Odie, and Louis as they join Tiana on this enchanting musical journey.
Art Walks and Performances

Disney
The celebration extends outside of the theme parks, too! Check out the Disney Springs Art Walk and admire stunning pieces created by talented Black artists, including a brand-new mural debuting this February.
And be sure to check out more art at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Meet and greet with black artists showcasing their work before enjoying the DISNEY ON BROADWAY concert series featuring stars from Disney’s iconic productions.
Beats and Eats

Disney
Animal Kingdom is the place to be as the park celebrates with music and dance. Join in on a Caribbean street party and dance to the drumbeats of Harambe.
Guests can also enjoy unique dishes like the Blackened Salmon with plant-based sausage ragoût or Peach Cobbler at select locations.
Celebrate Soulfully at Disneyland
Gospel Music and Black Heritage
Disneyland Resort offers plenty of fun ways to celebrate!

Disney
The Celebrate Gospel event at Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theatre returns for two days of unforgettable performances on February 8 and 15 with headliners DOE and Melvin Crispell, III.
Year Round Fun

Disney
Disneyland also offers a collection of diverse experiences available all year that celebrates Black Heritage. Princess Tiana’s story continues year-round in New Orleans Square, with themed dining at Tiana’s Palace and unique shops like Eudora’s Chic Boutique.
And we can’t forget the newest attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
Super Heroes Unite

After checking out the rides, head over to California Adventure! Are you ready to train with Black Panther’s loyal bodyguards or encounter Captain America?
A special window display in Disney California Adventure Park pays tribute to Floyd Norman. Stop by for a closer look and snap a photo of Disney’s first Black animator and a Disney Legend.
Downtown Disney and Resort Highlights

More great celebrations and offerings are available outside of the parks! Enjoy smooth jazz from Joe Gardner of Soul at Pixar Place Hotel, or sip on signature lattes and Caribbean bites from Black women-owned brand Sip & Sonder.
