Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to Close Early in January and February
With the holiday season in the rearview mirror and Spring Break still a few months away, Walt Disney World has entered its “off-season.”
As cooler temperatures and lighter crowds are expected over the next couple of months, Disney is utilizing this time to complete refurbishments.
We have already seen Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Astro Orbiter, The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros, Kali River Rapids, and Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club close.
That brings us to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Will Close Early on Select Dates
Over the next few weeks, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will close early on select dates in Magic Kingdom.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
The Frontierland attraction will close at 6 PM on January 23, 27, 29, and February 3, 5, and 6.
On January 30, the Magic Kingdom’s newest ride will close at 4:30 PM.
While Disney has not announced an official reason for the attraction’s early closures, they may be maintenance-related.
Why the Attraction is Closing Early
Traditionally, Splash Mountian closed in January and February for a yearly refurbishment.
As Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been open for less than a year, Disney likely does not want to close its latest E-ticket attraction completely. After all, guests are still flocking to Magic Kingdom to experience the ride for the first time.
Instead, it looks like Disney is closing the attraction early, as temperatures begin to cool off.
