If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the development of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After.
Set to debut this summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the show will transport guests to the mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror. Here, they will come face to face with the likes of Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent.

“Never ones to let a dramatic performance pass them by, fiendish foes Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent will break through the glass and take the stage to prove once and for all why they are the most misunderstood,” Disney teased earlier this month.

A new listing shows that Disney is searching for a female-identifying performer between the heights of 5’10 and 6’1.
“As portrayed in the animated classic, Maleficent (muh-LEFF-uh-sint), mistress of evil, prides herself on being the epitome of villainy. With her powerful magic and vengeful demeanor, Maleficent will do anything to ensure her will is carried out. Non-singing role,” the application continues.
The Villain’s Monologue
Interested applicants can upload their audition videos online. As part of the process, the listing gives performers a monologue to recite.
“Well, well….quite a glittering assemblage we have here, this evening. And dressed in such festive, holiday attire. My, my, we have royalty….nobility….the gentry….and, how quaint, even the rebel! I really felt quite distressed at not receiving an invitation to tonight’s festivities. I am sure it was merely due to some….oversight. (More angered) Hear me when I say, you shall not get the best of me again. Remember…I am the mistress of all evil! You should be wise to never forget it!” the transcript reads.
